in your treatment and care, including working with you to help you get what you need in good time. Our advocacy is completely independent from health, social care and all public services.
If you feel things seem to be going wrong, or are not working well in your care and treatment, we can work with you to help to make things right, and help you to put your views across to improve your wellbeing.

If you are a carer or family member we can help you to challenge inappropriate care or treatment of those you care for, and appeal for appropriate care and treatment. We can help you speak up to get the support you need as a carer too.

If you are a statutory or independent service provider My Clear Voice can supply ad hoc independent advocacy to your service users and provide expert by experience consultancy on a range of issues.
Case study: Non-Instructed Advocacy for a Child
The parents of L, a child with special educational needs, contacted My Clear Voice to get help with obtaining appropriate educational provision for their child, after losing confidence in their legal representation.

My Clear Voice was appointed as their child's non-instructed independent advocate, acting in L's best interests. This included challenging the provision of an inappropriate school placement (which then did not proceed) and helping to obtain interim alternative education provision, while the process of identifying an appropriate school remained ongoing.
